Mission Statement
TARGETED AUDIENCE
- Pastors' Wives (regardless of age)
- Women whose husbands’ are enrolled in the COGBF Ministerial Classes
- Wives of Ordained Ministers and Elders
- Widows of former Pastors/Ministers
PURPOSE
To Train, Encourage, Motivate, and Provide Instructions in the following areas:
- Working with your husband in this Ministry
- Caring for your home and family
- Maintaining a close relationship with Christ
- Maintaining a close relationship with your spouse
- Requirements and expectations of a Pastors' and/or Ministers' Wife
- Working with members entrusted to your leadership
- Making time for self
Sessions are held three to four times annually during the District Assemblies. National Sessions are held once or twice each year during National Conventions. Pastors and Ministers Wives' within the organization are encouraged to attend all sessions. In additional, the national church holds an annual retreat designed to bring P/M Wives together for a time of fellowship and relaxation. Again, we encourage the ladies to attend this event.
